                so I went home."  ...  where I found a note pinned to the front door ... which read ...

           

          1. Clean up your mess in the garage.
          2. Restore the bathroom to the condition in which you found it.
          3. Get rid of the drink bottles and food wrappers from the TV room.
          4. Put your dirty clothes in the laundry.
          5. Take out all the trash.

           

                      so I went straight back to work ... to find the boss had gone off to an all-day conference ...

           

               had a really, really good day ... :-)
