Yup, finally scored enough credit to stand up and be recognised. Miserable wet day down here, and a real shame about the Cutty Sark as well. I see Seti is off air again, not having much luck recently are they?

Got any AMD rigs? there is an Einstein hack/fix over in the NC board.

Chris

The weather has been dull but to dry up here, and yes vandals don't understand the meaning of what they play with to the!

Seti is not having all the luck as you said, and I plan to stay with Einstein for another month before I go back to Celtic. Hopefully, this will give them time to sort out their act. Although, I think a lot of the Seti crunchers will give up and move on to other projects.

No, all my rigs Intel-based, including the old ones. What I want is an optimised Einstein client similar to those that they gave with chicken soup.

Tullio: Sounds like good

Tullio: Sounds like good competition for the crews, so velocità del dio e la cosa migliore di fortuna alla squadra del Luna Rossa!

Chris S: Good to see you posting without your proxy! Congrats and welcome. I get the impression your not on about a bottle of liquor, what happened to the Cutty Sark? I have deep respect for the Seti project, but always seem to have my desire to find alien life placated locally (a place sometimes referred to as 'Planet Venice' :) )

HomeGnome: Good morning! I hope the weather improves. Was thinking about what you said regarding competition and winners, and decided that even in a chess game ending in a draw, both are still winners for making the effort...

To all fellow crunchers: winning... :)

Thanks, thought I'd have a proxy forever at the rate I was going!

They have their problems at the moment, mainly through lack of funding.

Waiting for Godot & salvation :-)

Why do doctors have to practice?
You'd think they'd have got it right by now

I suspect the serious crunchers with the quaddies wont, which means the backbone of the crunchers will stay.

Apparently something is supposed to be on its way.

@ Keith

Yes they do apparently suspect arson now. I really do despair at times.....
