C'mon Doggie, it's hard to have revitalization without some posh somewhere... 2 of the happeningest threads in the whole place! I'll do whatever I can to make my future posts in these threads less poshy. But I'm frankly struggling to overcome that lasting first-impression during introductions years ago in the Captain's thread about 'a mess in the corner', as that wit cut pretty deep, and so when I hear you say, 'someone had to do it...', well, no one could do it better, and so please don't take that the wrong way!
The closest I've been to Italy was Troyes, France :-) That was a nice city
I would suggest Trieste, my hometown, then Florence, Pisa, Lucca and Siena. There are so many things to see in Italy that one life is not sufficient. Also the Dolomite mountains, which I climbed in my youth.
