North East Kansas got another couple of inches of Snow over night. Temperature around Freezing.
Apparently Saturday overnight to Sunday we get more snow and temperatures back down into the 20's F.
Problems traveling again.
And here in Eastern NC we have similar temps this morning but this afternoon it will be in the mid 30's, it's not projected to hit the 50's until NEXT Saturday, that's a week from tomorrow!!! The electric grid will be tested this week!!
Today, Friday, Jan 17th, it got up to 54॰ F, but tomorrow, Saturday ..... it is going down to -2॰ F;
Sunday getting up to +8॰ F, Sun night -5॰ F; Monday getting up to +8॰ F, Mon night -7॰ F;
Tuesday getting up to +5॰ F, Tue night -1॰ F; and it won't get above freezing until maybe next Friday.
I still have my windows open with no heat turned on and it's about 80॰ F inside with it still 35॰ F at 11 pm.
Hooray for GPUs !!
At 7:00 am on Sunday it is 4॰ F outside, my LR window is fully open, my BR window is open ~ 1/3, my heat is still off and I still have about 80॰ F inside with no fans blowing.
.....[EDIT].....
For those of you that are wondering WHY I have 80॰ F inside with my windows open and it being +4॰ F outside, here's why:
My two computers are running CPU's at ~ 150 W package power at ~ 75॰ C with two GPU's in each computer running 100% BOINC load utilization and between 59-64॰ C in temperature.
Plus, I live in a 170 unit retirement community building built out of concrete that retains a fair amount of heat from most all other units with heat to keep them warm.
We'll see if this still holds true tonight with it getting to -5 ॰ F.

It started above 30 last night. It got down to 20 this morning. And that is the "high" all day. Then it starts down again after sundown.

George,
I vaguely remember someone calling GPU's toasters. Guess they saw your rig...
