It does look as though they

It does look as though they may be able to salvage many useful parts so all may not be lost.

Cheers, Mike.

Can't seem to load that page. All I get is the 'spinning wheel' in the Tab... :-(

[EDIT:]

Well, after five minutes of letting the wheel spin, the site FINALLY came up.

AFAIK per the tracking all

AFAIK per the tracking all tugs are in Port Canaveral. Might see something on the webcam .....

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) I couldn't see anything rocket sized on the barge, but the light wasn't excellent.

( edit ) I've had a closer look at the barge from my screenshots. The barge top is empty.

( edit ) I guess the commentator was right when she said they lost the booster.

Well, it was frustrating to

Well, it was frustrating to me to NOT hear English being spoken for the launch of Arianespace VA230...

I couldn't follow anything of what was said; and it seemed that every time that the English speaker spoke, he was drowned out by what I assume was French... But, I'm NOT sure, because I don't speak French.

The launch looked good; but, again, I could NOT follow what was happening... I'll stick with SpaceX... At least I can understand what is being spoken when they speak.

I guess you are talking about the recorded stream, which has the English and French audio superimposed, on both the English and French streams. I expect they'll fix that.

Live, for me anyway, the two streams were separate and the commentator, from Denver i might add, was crystal clear and kept it interesting during the the two delays.

Over at NSF someone posted "there was a big thing covered with tarp on the barge."

This person had watched a live Periscope view of the entry of the barge to the port. I'm a bit ignorant on this modern stuff, but think that means someone was holding a smartphone and transmitting a live stream from their viewpoint. Sadly no one posted a screen capture that I've spotted.

It sure is not an intact stage, but probably more than nothing.

Thanks for that. I'd score that as a great deal more than nothing. In the middle picture if I suspend disbelief I can imagine I see the tarp draping over engine bells.
