Good points guys. I evidently haven't thought this through properly. Perhaps I could go for a research grant eg. "Undead defence mechanisms utilising common BBQ tools" with the supplementary "Timing of al fresco meals with respect to apocalypses". Could you chaps* spare the time to assist here ?

Cheers, Mike.

* You'd only have to eat and drink alot of provided high quality victuals and ethanol derivatives. Just look surprised when the zombies turn up. I'll get those from Collingwood or ....

... my apologies to any Collingwood supporters reading this, but then maybe nursie shouldn't have let you use the keyboard-screen thingy.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Just don't let the zombies

Just don't let the zombies get a hold of above said cooking gadget. One of them might just be smart enough to use it on you! :P

Interesting to see that

Interesting to see that Emirates are a sponsor of the team. In the UK Arsenal's home ground is called the Emirates stadium after the main sponsor. They moved there from Highbury in 2006. How many more teams do this lot have a finger in the pie in?

The AFL is a highly sponsored franchise. We have an Etihad Stadium for instance and on googling I note there is or was one in Manchester !

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) Where'd nursie go ? Oh, here she is :

RE: The City of Manchester

Quote:
The City of Manchester Stadium in Manchester, England, also known as the Etihad Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is the home ground of Manchester City Football Club and, with a capacity of 60,000, is the third-largest stadium in the Premier League and eighth-largest in the United Kingdom.

That is the trouble with football and other stuff these days, it is not a sport any more it is big business worth millions to investors.

And I think I'd rather have this nurse thank you!

This looks like a good gadget to use :

.... that could double up as a zombie dispatcher should the apocalypse begin mid-cooking ? I mean, you don't want anything to put off the meal.

Cheers, Mike.

I have to wonder, if you become a zombie by being bitten by one, do you also become one if you bite one? In which case, that would definitely not be a tool to return to food use after zombie-dispatching.
