boinc_api.cpp:1017 is essentially the same line in the current boinc API code than boinc_api.cpp:992 was in the previous App 1.04. IOW the problem isn't (fully) solved yet.
Hopefully tomorrow I'll push out a new Linux App that should help to further debug this problem.
