Apparently the App didn't find the debug file. This should be put in the directory where files like account_einstein.phys.uwm.edu.xml and client_state.xml, and in particular projects and slots directories are located. Please check the name and location of the EAH_DEBUG_GDB file. Not sure about the boinc client you're using, but the directory could be somthing like /var/lib/boinc or similar.
If all goes well there should appear the GDB intro in stderr.txt of all tasks following the log message "Found 'EAH_DEBUG_GDB' file" as in this task.
I had put the file EAH_DEBUG_GDB in /var/lib/boinc-client, which contains the files that you listed. The owner:group was root:root, so now I've changed it to boinc:boinc to see if that helps.
Here are more, and I'll check back in a couple days. I just updated GDB and changed owner:group to boinc:boinc on the EAH_DEBUG_GDB file in the data subdir, so possibly it will give different results now.
