Indeed, Bernd should have a look on this one. Your coputers are hidden so I can't see debug output of those results. Bernd has access to the DB and might be able to say more about this (I guess after X-mas :-) ).
The most recent is 89819460 which is yet again "Client error / Compute error / 86,407.09 secs / 191.23 claimed score."
It's the - exit code -1073741502 (0xc0000142), which means one of the Dynamic Linked Libraries failed to load correctly. Checking your log, I see it loads the DLLs all fine up until the last bit, where it fails to load any of them. It also looks like it happened after Einstein was allowed to run again, after a switch between projects or you stopping/restarting BOINC.
What you could try to do is to set BOINC to leave applications in memory when switching. This will keep all applications you run in memory, so watch out with projects with large memory requests (CPDN, SAP, Cosmology). They'll also only be kept in memory as long as BOINC is on, if you stop BOINC, or reboot the computer, they will be unloaded from memory.

Anyway, thanks for the report!

Hi Bikeman,
I quoted the debug output in my first post above. In addition to that, this is the exit code (message tag) which also always the same: "process exited with code 38 (0x26, -218)"
I was checking one of my computers and found all but 2 tasks gone. I checked the msg area and this is what I found.... This happened right after a CPU Benchmark run...... Has anyone run into this????

What do you mean by "replace the tasks"? "Daily Quota" means that the project set a download limit of two WUs per day, usually in order to spread WUs over several users or even to protect 'em from being all sucked up by one faulty client which has gone wild.

I had two more signal 11 errors. I'm quite sure these are also related to network problems, The last one was suspended but left in memory when it crashed.

I think I need help with my laptop, I keep getting signal 6 errors after reboot. No idea why. According to the BOINC Wiki, signal 6 would indicate an "illegal character" in a WU, but since it always happens after starting up and affects about 80% of my WUs it must be something with my box. I'm running Kubuntu 7.10, laptop is a Core Duo, not overclocked or anything, no heat problems (which would much more likely occur after a long runtime anyway). I wonder if it may have to do with the fact that I'm using a complete disk encryption (via DM-crypt), but I know other people using DM-crypt where BOINC and Einstein work fine and all other BOINC projects I tried on this laptop (Prime Grid, SHA1, Enigma, LHC, SETI) seem to be completely unaffected. Besides, I'm using BOINC under my own account in a screen, so it doesn't even start before the system is completely booted up, so the encryption shouldn't really play a role...
Is it just the Ubuntu/Einstein combination acting up on me yet again, or is there anything that could help? Changing core client version had no effect.
