The scientist are not accepting them. Read through all the forums, and what AKOS has to say about they are going to reissue all the WUs crunched under any optimized app, because the scientist say it's not valid, even though the validator is validating them.

You are right. Lots of scientists examined the official application before that was issued, so they accepts the results of the official application. They didn't examined the modified apps, so they will not accept its results.
Don't know if this is a case where the project is now rejecting results from the prototypes, but if not may show why we were asked to stop using them.

All others are still valid and accepted: results
And there are a lot of people still not using the official app.
I wonder how they can be so fast with installing Akos's patches and now don't have any more eye on this forum.

That's not quite true. Only some of the patched apps. produced invalid results and that's what its all about.
The latest one i've used S5T0712. gives valid results.
I don't think all of them are under funded. The only one i really know of is S@H

Please, don't use any patched versions of Einstein@Home app.
The bad results caused some problems in the database.

All may not, but I did read that E@H has had light funding.
If you look how at least one other is falling apart, I am betting they have funding issues, also.

Any chance that they will look at what you did and approve some:
1 for SSE
1 for SSE3
1 for 3Dnow
Just those three should cover almost all computers.
