We are definitely trying to

We are definitely trying to help how we can with our Windows systems. We have some additional plans to grow what we offer students in the way of workstations (students use the workstations for whatever educational/creative purpose they want them they crunch E@H and WCG when not being used.. well they usually still crunch even when being used except for the most demanding studnet work). Some might be Windows and some might be Linux. We have big plans but nothing set in stone yet.

I think that's exciting and a teachable moment for the kids as well, you CAN contribute to the whole even while doing the things you have to do.

Microsoft Windows rises again!

We have two Microsoft Windows boxes in the top 10 at e@h.

The Windows "attack" is certainly on.

Ranks 40 thru 50 (at this moment) is all Windows Operating systems.

And 23 out of the top 50 are Windows systems.

In "other" News, there are 13 systems in the top 50 running Amd-based gpu's (split between very high end current generation gpus and the great old standby Radeon VII with at least one nod to the Vega model).

For sure! Often, the students I work with want to contribute to scientific research but struggle to figure out how to help. Our workstations are allowing them to actually contribute (and allows them to do their own individual research), which they are really excited about. One of my classes is in the middle of presenting about projects on the WCG and will be in charge of expanding our capabilities. It will be interesting to see what they come up with! With the Lovelaces and Genoas coming out soon, it should be interesting.

I have read about "hard tack"

I have read about "hard tack" and seen at least one movie where some one was allegedly eating it.

Here is a recipe and eating tips.
