Hot Chocolate?? What about your beer?? Enough of that will certainly reduce any inflicted pain caused by the shots.
That reminds me of a joke.
The tech support guy at a company I was working at said "Did you know 'Natural Light' will kill covid-19?"
I said that no I hadn't heard that.

I was re-reading "Quantum Shadows" by LE Modesitt, Jr for at least the 3rd or 4th time when I FINALLY realized the central character who could/did change into a Raven from a humanoid form was possibly Odin or an Avatar of Odin with "a continuous thought stream" from deep in the past to the future being written about.
The author was once again exploring theology and human imperfection in this book. And how to keep humanity from committing both suicide and destroying the galaxy/universe.
