True.  It has become do routine that we expect it to work.

I think the actual truth is that the maximum sea state and wind capabilities are limited enough that unless they constrain launches to avoid challenging conditions they will lose one now and again for those if no other reason.  Still it has been a remarkable string of successes for what most of us thought looked a very challenging and perhaps quixotic quest not so many months ago.

I, myself, meant to watch it live yesterday, forgot to start the stream, and could not find a stored version to watch until just now.

Like the shuttle until it didn't work.  I was in my manager's office which looked north towards the cape.  We were discussing the current project and did not even pay attention to the Columbia launch until we looked out the window and realized that something had gone terribly wrong.  There were two separate con trails.  We had assumed that this launch like all the others were routine.  Takeaway:  nothing in rocketry is routine.

Unless you consider being able to mate to the fuel line being part of operating.
