Go Searcher & Go Quest have just left Port Canaveral. Does this imply a downrange barge retrieval for the first stage with this special vehicle payload test ?
Cheers, Mike.
( edit ) Being a secret squirrel type of launch then I don't think there will be a telecast etc ..... :-((

With a pending cat4 hurricane approaching overland from the south west they might be moving them to a safe location. Irma (storm name) might be the one that kicks our butts. Serious damage to the Caribbean Island chains. Winds currently at 180 mph. Buildings/houses don't normally stay together in those wind speeds. Not sure what the winds will be when it arrives here Sunday/Monday time frame. I'll be gone!!!

The NSF site's launch details list says this one is expected to attempt landing at LZ-1.
Getting assets into better protected locations seems likely. I'm not sure getting them out of the way of the storm is possible at this point. It has a rather big "way".
Really nice video of the whole booster recovery and landing portion. It helps that the "secret squirrel" aspect meant that they stopped spending screen space on the rest of the vehicle just after staging.

Do take care. I hope it goes well for you. I've survived a bush firestorm myself. I can't say which is worse actually : too much water or not enough ?
Cheers, Mike.

I see, and Irma has this massive eye. Then there's a Jose coming up behind too.
Cheers, Mike.
