I hope everything goes well for you and this isn't going to happen again for a long time!!

Anniet have you tried a mobile with a bigger screen, the stuff may wiggle more but could still be readable. And I'm very glad you stopped walking into things, that isn't a fun experience for the person doing it, but YouTube has hundreds of clips of people doing it and they are funny!!

Hope everyone enjoyed their Halloween yesterday. The grandkids came back with a ton of sugary loot that needs to be inspected before letting them get at it.

Obviously grandpa will take his favorites off the top before then...

WINNING!!!

NO trick or treaters in my neighborhood last night, but when I had little kids we used to take a break at the midway point and we would go thru their candy, everything they didn't like would be put in a pile in the middle for the other kid to decide if they want, if neither wanted it, and it was good to give out, it went into the basket for some other kid to get from our house. Then the wife and I would swap and the other would go out with the kids and do it all over again, different homes though. As things slowed down we would do a grab bag instead of only 2 pieces of candy per kid, they could have as much a they wanted so we didn't have any left overs. At the end of the night we'd do the same thing again with the kids candy and any they didn't want the wife and I got, the kids only got to keep about 50 to 70% of what they collected, some years they got more than other years, and the rest got donated.

And I'm very glad you stopped walking into things,

Stopped?

Erm...

mostly...

Yes...

Mostly I have! :) It's reverted back to the less common combinations, and therefore less frequent now. Like stepping on a partially deflated black balloon for instance, in the dark, that wafted in from somewhere, in time for one foot to use it between the boot it was in and the ground that it was aiming for and should have been on but wasn't, to propel everything else it was attached to into our front gate... a wooden structure six feet high and four foot wide - that rises from above a concrete step and gives way to a-b-s-o-l-u-t-e-l-y nothing, with a din.

*slide eyes at Mike* that's how you do too much information.

Are you allowed solids yet? I hope you are and that all is well :)

*laugh at betreger* ;) that picture reminds me of how long the indicator used to tick when my mum drove. She'd eventually confirm it was on purpose that it was on and that she could actually be intending to turn at some point when she'd shove her arm out the window to hand signal that.

When the window was open it really was quite elegant,

Sounds like Halloween was fun and fruitful, Randy :-)

Ours was very quiet. Not a child stirred anywhere outside. First time ever too :( but never mind.

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

All healthy internally thank you. Perfect pipeworks. Next up in 2022. These .... procedures .... are inflicted by virtue of a family inheritance*. It is only my mind that now remains soiled. For that I will have a haircut this afternoon. :-))

Cheers, Mike.

(edit ) Along the lines of The Barber Of Seville conundrum : I wonder who checks the colonoscopist ?

Did you take anesthesia? I didn't the last time and it was fascinating to watch, I wish I got a DVD.

I had a combo of midazolam

I had a combo of midazolam and propofol which is called 'twilight sedation' DownUnda. I don't remember anything. Very weird to lose an hour but the times just abut without a sensation of a break, unlike normal sleep. As for the trip home, well, I reckon Christopher Cross expresses it the best :

And I've got such a long way to go (such a long way to go)

To make it to the border of Mexico

So I'll ride like the wind

Ride like the wind…

I guess I probably took the blue pill then & thus I remain within The Matrix. I think they swapped out the tracking chip for the upgrade though.

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) I was told later that I had ( sic ) 'cracked an epic joke' during the procedure. But they said it was too risque even to repeat back to me. Fortunately this is plausibly deniable and shall remain so .... could be a false memory for all I know. :0)
