Some zebra crossings must

Some zebra crossings must be deliberately situated to save wear and tear on pavements. I presume to thin down those using both...? Why I'm still here to break this to you is that if you wish to avoid being pizza'd, there may still be a thin strip of "middle bit" in these invitations to die, that you might juuuuuuuuuuuuuust manage to hurtle to. Don't count on it being actually in the middle though, people because If I'd reached there on this one, I wouldn't be here.

To be fair - the driver of the flatbed truck that whisked the end of my nose, must have expected it and the rest of me to be flattened by the vehicle that careered round the corner before I ever reached that far, so put his foot down to take his shot at the crossing just past the blind hump further down the road.

I

Oh edit: I appear to have started to say something but then didn't. It was a question I think, that I thought better of asking, so didn't.

Hope everyone has a lovely week :)

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

You really do need to look both ways and stop using your cellphone when you are out walking around. ;-)

Do those Halloween wishes

Do those Halloween wishes mean you've had a late night, or an early morning, M Ffing? I still have hopes mine is the former. rather than one long blur that lasts until the next one comes along.

I can't actually use my cellphone at the moment, Mikey, but even if I could, calling it a mobile as we do here is laughable. My eyes jiggle about in their sockets a bit too much when I move, I think, because I have to be completely still to make any use of it, so no, it played no part in the events on this occasion. It used to enable me to fall over bollards or walk into lampposts though... probably where my eyes got loosened - but thank you for the tips :) and Gary for the clip too :)

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

An early start, Anniet. The worm and the rolls are fresher then. ;-)

Hungry. Yes. That feeling.

Hungry. Yes. That feeling. Right now I'm drinking my colonoscopy prep. Whoopity doo ..... a top evening lies ahead of me. My end is indeed quite near. :-(

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Oh. That's a shame :/ I say

Oh. That's a shame :/ I say that because I've found long drawn out tortures often are. And horrible. They're that too.

I'm sorry. :(

Oh my, I had to read that twice to get it right. I thought at first you said "My end is indeed quite dear.".  Mine has been every time I've had to have one of those...
