Thank you for the timely reminder, Sir. :-) A welcome restating of board etiquette I too will endeavour to be guided by. It has become all too easy of late to lower the tone of one's responses to that of irksome irritant, in the face of the same. It has, I'm sure, not assisted matters
In the spirit of this new détente, I look forward to a commitment from, Mr S and a more enjoyable board experience for us all.
A cordial weekend to you and yours and likewise to everyone here. Belated congratulations to Jonathan on his win of the thread. Well done, sir :-)
Instead of sitting here with the computer, I should be out cutting the grass and doing other stuff in this beautifully cool weather.
You are now free to hop to it as I will take care of the winning while you are out and about!! I had to go get some tags for the 'convertible' I bought the other day...a golf cart. Then because I live in North Carolina, USA I had to go the Dept or Motor Vehicles and get a NEW drivers license as the old one will no longer work soon, 90 days, as far as the TSA is concerned and I do plan on taking more trips at some point. That took MUCH longer than it needed to take as there is a sign that states that EVERY ONE needs a ticket, unfortunately the sign is covered up if you bring in paperwork with you, as is required, and put it down on the desk when you tap the computer screen to get the ticket. Meaning my wife and I had ONE ticket and the lady refused to handle both of us at the same time, so I had to go back and get another ticket, which was 6 numbers further up the string of numbers from my wifes number, she got my wifes new license straightened out and told us she could not process mine too because it was not the next number in order. We then we sat down and waited, we waited almost AN HOUR for my number to be called, by the SAME lady, and then she processed my new license request too!! And these people aren't even State Employees, they are CONTRACTORS, you would think they'd have some brains in their heads but it seems they do not!!
I would not know what the weather is like at your place as I don't even know in detail where you live.
And sir Rodney, it is always a pleasure to read your posts and I have not once found any of your posts irritating, offensive or otherwise giving any kind of displeasure.

I am delighted to learn of that, Sir. :-) Thank you.
Lost one of my birds. Hate it when that happens.
Before offering condolences, may I enquire as to the species?
