Does that mean that I can be winning while we wait?

There is always that

There is always that possibility. There is also the possibility to accidently quote the solution to my riddle.

CODE SOLUTION:

ZmNt : the last letter ..... And there you have it! :) Solved!!

It remains a wonder that Annie has yet to be awarded a Nobel Prize. In what exact category I cannot say. I do thnik we should ignore 'Z', unless you are Zorro in which case emphasise away. My clear error - I see it so plainly now - was to not cancel the reversed redundancy and thus ignore the "doubled uppercase metric in its lowercase form", as you so aptly put it. My other glaring omission - pause for a good glare - was to not even consider the "electrostigmatic field". Tut. Tut. Some sort of lightning enabled tattooing strategy ? But I maintain that one doesn't need tactical buffering in any event.

So there you have it : I murmur an impressed wow.

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) Great Ronnie Corbett joke : "It is rumoured that the publishers have recalled the long-awaited book on the history of Sellotape. Apparently, no one can find the beginning."

( edit ) I got "R@n33t!" at one point, but I no longer remember how .... :-(((

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

I am almost (12 days) going

I am almost (12 days) going on vacation, and before I go I shall declare a winner.

So I have to stop posting now to keep my streak going.  And what do vegetables have to do with the win anyway?

Ronnie Corbett jokes All

Ronnie Corbett jokes

All those who believe in psychokinesis raise my right hand.

For some time, my wife's had this ridiculous idea that I'm playing too much golf. Actually, it came to a head at about 11.30 last night. She suddenly shouted at me: "Golf, golf, golf. All you ever think about is bloody golf!". And I'll be honest, it frightened the life out of me. I mean, you don't expect to meet somebody on the 14th green at that time of night.

This is a message for seven honeymoon couples in a hotel in Peebles: Breakfast was served three days ago.

West Mercia police announced tonight that they wish to interview a man wearing high heels and frilly knickers, but the chief constable said they must wear their normal uniforms.

Boom Boom!

Waiting for Godot & salvation :-)

Why do doctors have to practice?
You'd think they'd have got it right by now

Interesting! I wonder what it means?

*contemplate*

It could be what started Gary off about vegetables. Uh-oh. As soon as I wrote "vegetables" it turned into a hyperlink

How about: ration 33 tons (of carrots perhaps?)  or something about a rat nest in a gourd maybe?

Ooooh! Pick me! Pick me!

*Walk round Randy* I have never thought of trying that *impressed blink*  this is how knowledge gets passed on isn't it everyone :)  I think this may be the first time we've competed in TLPTW, Randy. If I may take this opportunity to wish you good luck :)

Quite how I'll feel about having done so should you actually win, we'll have to deal with when you come to when we come to it

;)

A vacation does sound nice, Jonathan :) Anywhere in particular or will you just be stopping what you normally do for awhile? Those can be quite good too I've heard.

*SNORT at jokes* :)))

Now if you don't mind excusing me people ... I need to comb this thread for clues after saying hello to Kathryn and Mikey. *do that and add a wave* :)

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.
