Well, no Spring here...  Went from rainy Winter, (which we needed BADLY here in CA), to HOT Summer weather this coming week.  Heat today hit 82 F, and will be hitting in the 90's later in the week.  NO Spring weather here...

[EDIT:]

Reset crunching times to evening crunching as of last night.  Now crunching from 6 PM - PDT to 9 AM - PDT.TL

I switched over to AC last week, more to remove humidity than heat, but I switched back to heat the same evening (although it didn't kick in for another couple of days). Right now it's 44 on the roof of WGN on the north side of Chicago. We might hit 60 by Sunday.

I might have to institute night-only crunching this summer, just to save a little money.

In Pasadena, Southern California, it is doing it usual warm 90 F day.  Fortunately it is still getting cool at night.

The Weather Channel May temperature Outlook shows that Upper mid-West and North East will have at, or slightly below average temps. West and SouthWest will have Above average (i.e. HOT!) temps through the end of May.

Guess that if we're not going to talk about Zombie Bears, we might as well talk about the weather...

Here in Cleveland I had the heat on last night.  I think it went into the upper 30s.  In the next week or so it isn't going to go above 60.  I'm wondering if it's really May.

Here at the beach near Myrtle Beach, SC it's DEFINITELY May, it's been in the low to upper 80's all week but with some rain coming in tonight the Pro Tour golfers in Wilmington NC, 40 miles North of me, won't like the cooler low 70s thru Tuesday next week. It's rain tonight then it's gone until next week, but the rain could be heavy at times and cause some flooding in the low lying areas, which mine is not.

I've been on the lookout for any zombie bears but haven't seen any so far, in fact I haven't seen ANY bears at all and that's a good thing too!!

I saw a story on the News last night that there are over 300 black bears in the woods about 40 miles from my new house, they are close to Myrtle Beach, SC as there is a bunch of woods there. They are talking about 'thinning the herd' a bit as some are roaming out of the woods in search of new territory. I hope no 'zombie bears' get the hunters!!

I will just go into my computer room and hide from them!! It can get a bit warm in there if the a/c is off and they won't like that at all.

Ohhh I didn't think of that!!! Yes the honey is hidden in my stomach right now, but since there are no bears around me it's okay.

By the time there are, there

By the time there are, there won't be any honey then. So the bears will likely go to a super market.

Honey ? Ah, what you want are honey joys :

.... basically corn flakes with honey dripping all over and a short burst in the oven to crisp them up. That will bring the bears back ! :-)

Cheers, Mike.
