OK, so long as it's on the radar I'll stop worrying about it - in your own time.

Just noting that both Sabroe and I saw a concatenated url - edu[...]de and edu[...]community respectively - in the error message, so that needs to be part of the fix when the time comes.

There's nothing more to fix. As Shawn said, that was an unrelated caching issue.

Just thought I'd throw my

Just thought I'd throw my $0.02 in...

I can get to ALL parts of the Community EXCEPT Technical News.  When trying to get to Technical News, Firefox STILL gives me "Server Not Found."  While the rest of the Community seems to be showing the "einsteinathome.org" location; the Technical News is STILL "http://einstein.phys.uwm.educommunity/forum/19" for me...

[EDIT:]

Also, need to mention that, I am using OpenDNS settings in my personal router behind the U-Verse Gateway.  Could it be that OpenDNS has NOT caught up with the change to "einsteinathome.org" for the whole Community here, yet???  If this is the case, then manually clearing DNS Cache right now would NOT make a difference as OpenDNS would still force Technical News for me to "http://einstein.phys.uwm.educommunity/forum/19"...  Right???

Any ideas???

I just cleared my local

I just cleared my local caches and Technical News is referenced as it should be, that is on einsteinathome.org. Also, please note that DNS is about hostname <-> IP resolution. It doesn't know or care about individual paths on a given website. This looks like a local caching issue. Please clear your browser's cache (or try a different one) and try again.

1.)  Removed OpenDNS Settings from Router, Updated Changes.

2.)  Forced Quit Firefox, (to preserve Open Tabs when relaunching), then relaunched FF.

3.)  Cleared History and Cache for past 4 Hours in FF

Am now able to get to Technical News.  Laughing

Thanks Oliver.  Smile

Hello everyone! Before

Hello everyone!

Before posting this I tried using Search function to the best of my knowledge. Unfortunately, I couldn't find solution. If this problem was already reported and solved please forgive me can you point me in the right direction? Thank you!

So, the problem is in displaying my name anywhere on site. Here's the example:

In second word letter 5 should be š and last 3 characters should be ć

Mladen, We're aware that the name (and a few other strings) are not being saved correctly. The problem is that the databases use different character encodings (latin1 vs UTF-8). It's currently being worked on and we hope to have a fix for it soon.

I can not access this page: http://einstein.phys.uwm.educommunity/teams/172667/members.

It is the members list for : Amateur Radio Operators  team. https://einsteinathome.org/community/teams/172667

This problem just turned up in the past week. It was working fine before that.

Thank you,

Roger

The problem may be solved with cleared the cache on your browser, and/or restarting your browser (make sure you close all windows). See below in this thread for more details.
