I have Go Quest and Go

I have Go Quest and Go Searcher with fixes a few minutes ago in Port Canaveral. Elsbeth III however has no listed transponder fix since the 7th ( when it was also in port ).

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) Also the veterans are reporting increased activity around Pad 39 A ( the Apollo 11 launch site BTW ) where the first Falcon Heavy launch will take place.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Elsbeth III left Port

Elsbeth III left Port Canaveral with the landing barge in tow a bit over an hour ago. Currently she is making her way toward the landing site at about 5 knots (which seems to be about the typical tow cruising speed for this outfit.

Looks like the last position is due east of where I live. Might be a more southernly track. The weather here the last few days has been heavy rain with lightening.

Tomorow's 1350 launch of a Delta 4 is looking "iffy".

Yep. As I'm not spending $50

Yep. As I'm not spending $50 /month for the satellite tracking, then once beyond the shore receivers ( basically line-of-sight ) it goes off my map.

Cheers, Mike.

Thanks for that thread, and the screen-shots Mike.

I wondered why the first stage at port was not where it had landed on OCISLY for the recent Thiacom(F9-025).

Reading the thread, seems that it probably "walked" to the gunwale, (not supported by four legs) and was then secured. They don't say how fast it walked i'm guessing a few hours, that would be a nice time-lapse video, wobbling across the deck!

Edit: some interesting facts Reddit SpaceX wiki

Go Searcher and Go Quest (the

Go Searcher and Go Quest (the other two standard members of the SpaceX booster recovery team) left Port Canaveral about half an hour ago and were recently making a bit over 9 knots toward the recovery site.

I guess they get to leave later as their transit speed is faster than the tug and barge.

Unless I am confused I think

Unless I am confused I think the launch has gone back another 24 hours.

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) OK. Canaveral is near Orlando. A dreadful business.
