I see that you only have GPU

I see that you only have GPU tasks running on your other PC. Could it be that you disabled CPU work in general or maybe the CPU applications in your preferences? If so you should enable CPU work again. If you do not want to run CPU work on your other PC, you could select different locations and adjust the preferences for each separately.

@Maximilian Mieth Good

@Maximilian Mieth Good point. Applying web preferences to the Android devices is, IMHO, kind of unintuitive and the BOINC team currently is inclined to change the Android app so that it ignores web preferences altogether in one of the next versions to be released.

RE: Hi Still nothing. I

Hi

Still nothing. I have played also with CPU load and Memory load Set to 100% or 0% then do update. Still nothing fully charged on Battery AC and WIFI active. still having "Nothing to do"

In the last scheduler request, the device didn't ask for work:

Quote:

2013-08-13 05:43:34.8198 [PID=12377] [send] CPU: req 0.00 sec, 0.00 instances; est delay 0.00

You can get additional debugging info about work fetch in the Android event log by going to the preferences tab, then make sure to enable the "advanced" preferences and controls, and then tab on the "BOINC client log flags" button near the bottom of the preferences screen.

As others have posted, I am

As others have posted, I am getting segmentation violation for my Einstein@Home tasks. Couple differences, I am only running Einstein@Home, and it is all of my tasks - none have completed successfully. Example:
http://einsteinathome.org/task/396372496

some android info:
CPU type ARM
ARMv7 Processor rev 2 (v7l) @998MHz

Number of processors 1

Coprocessors ---

Operating System Android
2.6.32.17-g9a2fc16

Is there another place we should post bug reports besides this really long thread?

Thanks for the report. What model is your phone? Does it have the stock Android version installed by the vendor or does it have a custom/ modded kernel installed.

I heard that there are quite popular custom images for Android out there that try (quite successfully) to extend battery life by undervolting the CPU. If you overdo this tho, you will see computation errors.

the only technical glitch i

the only technical glitch i have found is the use of "phone memory", as in hard wired, initial memory that is part of the smartphone's working base. if boinc could use the -data card- memory (the 32, 64 or even 128Gb) data card that would clear all problems with the "insufficient memory" errors the webpages of the Boinc keep returning. most smartphones have a small internal "hard wired" memory card. and most other downloadable apps such as "Netflix" can be moved to and ran from the -data card-. btw, im just thinking outloud and have no real experience with programming the electronic wonders we now use.

I've received 4 different

I've received 4 different tasks for E@H. One was never reported because I uninstalled the app half way though, but it somehow failed validation. Other 3 finished and were reported, but also failed validation. Not sure what this could be an issue with, but I'm turning off new tasks on my Android phone for now.
