New beta driver 4444 for Intel HD Graphics 5xx series (it says 5th and 6th generation i7). There is no mention of OpenCL as usual but there are some general fixes among all the gaming fixes.
Of the tasks, one was invalid and the other 5 valid. One task overflowed all the others were inconclusive. I don't trust it.
1) Please. Create a FAQ, with really working solutions for IGPU. At "simple english". May be with screenshots, at the 1st message of the thread. For all CPU generations. Alot, alot, alot of pages with english text, is not an easy task for non english speaking ppl.
2) There is no special intel openCL 530 driver for Windows, at their site right now. There is for Linux.
Problem: Boinc do not use IGPU.

Solarrus: You should activate Test applications in your project settings. That will enable the unrestricted opencl app for your computer so we can see if it produces valid results. If it produces valid results I can enable the HD 5xx series also for the non-Beta app.
Edit: be aware that other people in this forum report that the HD 530 does not work well with the BRP application.
Christian, it's good to see a developer join the thread. It think we should change the current situation, because as it is you're blocking pretty much any current Intep GPU running a default config. What I suggest:
1. Open the project to Ivy, Haswell and Broadwell iGPUs. The problematic Haswell drivers are now about 2 years old, so the percentage of them still being used should be very small.
2. Block any Skylake GPUs, as we haven't had a single positive report yet. They generate about 50% of valid WUs by pure luck - the computed results stil differ significantly from the reference. Limit those to the beta so we can test new drivers. And please, try to work this issue out with Intel!
So far you may say "but the contribution from Intel GPUs is small". Well, that's because most people don't use them due to the "enable beta" requirement. Who knows what the combined amount of them could achive?
The easiest explanation would be that your PC was somehow switched to a different profile, or the profile was changed somehow. Otherwise this shouldn't happen and I don't know how it could.
And yes, the performance hit of the Einstein iGPU app is large and in your case definitely not worth it. My Skylake GPU is running the very-probably-useless Collatz now, because that hardly impacts the discrete GPU (and because Skylake can't run Einstein, presumbly due to a driver bug).
i dont know how useful it is. probly as useful as seti... I was hoping to be able to use it here but it not to be for now. i'll check back in next driver revision to see if that fixes anything.

running the 530 takes about 1.2w according to the logs from my UPS.
using collatz as my bench since they wu's are very consistant
GTX1080 averages 1:40/wu
GTX 960 averages 13:50/wu
HD 530 averages 41:15/WU
i7-6700k averages 9:58:??/wu/core
so based on those numbers i'd love to see it on a more "useful" project.
I didnt see any change in those times running einstien on the 530 vs collatz on the 530 or with the 530 disabled. i did shave a few seconds off the gpu times when i switch the CPU profile from 100% to 75% and it makes watching netflix a little smoother. while cruching.

New driver 4463 from Intel for the HD Graphics 530. I am currently running a few Seti beta multibeam tasks to see how it does.
There is no mention of OpenCL in the release notes but there are some OpenGL and other fixes. Yes I known OpenCL and OpenGL are two different things.
