I have been checking my work units and found that the 250 points awarded for a Gamma Ray work unit is consistent on all work units as long as they are under 30,000 (maybe a bit higher) seconds run time.
I have now had a number that have run for over 40,000 seconds and they have all been awarded 200 points.
This is a huge drop in awarded credit (down to just 17 cr/h) and only hits the longest running work units. In my opinion the work units that take the longest should be awarded the most credit, all other things being equal.
Those GRP's that have been crunched on my Mac have all resulted validation error.
Is that a general Mac app. issue or ?
So until further I have stopped receiving more of these WU's.
As BOINC's "Credit New" system has not shown to work reliably, E@H still assigns credit (and flops estimation) manually on the server side, which requires some fiddling and tuning, especially at the beginning of using a new application.

I finally received my first units .... I hope they will not go astray ....
By cons, there was no application for a GPU?
otherwise it should be multi-CPU to shorten their duration

Hi
No, there is no GPU app for the Gamma-ray-pulsar search, yet.

240842631

I still have a number pending of this work unit type.
I have only noticed this on Windows as no task has run this long on Linux yet.

According what I wanted pity that this application as the S6 is not in multi-GPU or CPU.
For example 37 000 sec for 250 pts .... it's a fair bit is knowing when GPU 500 pts ....

I got a validation error on my 32-bit Linux. A very rare event.

Also too, we are still tuning the validator.
Please bear with us, we're doing our best.

I have finished 33 GRP's so
)
I have finished 33 GRP's so far and credits for 23 the others pending and most are 250 credits.
I'm not worried about the credit numbers or time since I always like getting tasks to the newest versions when they start here.
And a couple of my machines still tend to just get GW's so I hope to get some GRP's mixed in on them too.
And yes they seem to run from 13hrs to 18hrs so far on my AMD's 2.8's and 2.9's (XP Pro's and Win7's)
