All of the 6.10 files are in

All of the 6.10 files are in the correct directory.
I ran it out of work before updating

Yet BM is reporting it is still using 6.07.
The app.info file looks correct as well.

Should I remove the 6.04, 6.05, 6.07 files?

Performance is fine, screen saver works fine.

Just to make sure: what is

Just to make sure: what is Windows' Task Manager telling you about the name of the executable that is actually running?

Solved.... Reattached to

Solved....
Reattached to project and 610 is reported as active.
I believe this was caused by a file structure error during installation.

BM brands the files with the version it was using when they where downloaded. changing the app half way threw will not change the version reported. checking task manager would show which program is actually running.

seeing without seeing is something the blind learn to do, and seeing beyond vision can be a gift.

I have updated 3 hosts so far

I have updated 3 hosts so far to the 6.10 app. All are running XP Pro. One has BOINC 6.4.5 and the others have 6.2.19. No issues to report.

I hope to have remaining hosts converted in a couple of days once they flush their cache of 6.05 work units.

Installed the 6.10 app on a q9450 running vista 64bit and Boinc 6.2.18. A lot of tasks has been completed and validated, but when I checked my tasks today I found these:

Task id= 112885115
Taks id= 112883625
Task id= 112881341

All 3 has been marked as invalid. they all ran to completion and was uploaded and reported as they should from my end.

At least 14 tasks has been validated after these so it shouldn't be a problem with my machine.

Could it have something to do with the server-problems around Christmas?

Hello, my first post here!

I also have a couple of invalids on my new Quad. It's a Q9550 with Vista 64b and BOINC 6.4.5 and has been running v6.10 on all four cores since [edit] 21 Dec. The tasks are:

112632956
112425773

At the time of writing, 89 tasks have been validated with more pending. I couldn't find others with 'Checked, but no consensus yet'.

I'll check the event logs tomorrow when I get back to the machine.

Edit2 - I should add that it's not overclocked and it ran the Prime95 torture tests for more than 24 hours without error.
