I've been running 4.36 on two 2.16 GHz Core2Duos under MacOS X 10.4.10 for just over a week now, 36 WUs completed to date with no client errors and no validation errors. CPU time has reduced from ~67700 secs to ~65900 secs on a 422.88 credit WU. Seems pretty solid to me !
MacOS Intel S5R2 App 4.36 is now the official app and will be distributed automatically to crunchers. Thanks to all who provided feedback in the beta test!
WARNING: Probably switching back to the official App by simply removing the app_info.xml doesn't work anymore since we enabled verify_files_on_app_start. Sorry, we didn't think about this side effect for Beta tests. I'll see if there's any non-destructive way of switching back to the official App path from the Beta.
For now I recommend to NOT remove the app_info.xml while you have tasks in progress with more than, say, 5% done.

I cam into the beta late, but have had several verified WU on my MBP 2.16 GHz Core Duo. It isn't any faster than the 4.19 I was running, though.
