A new Windows App is available from our Beta Test Page.
A problem affecting the cross-platform compatibility we have been digging for for two weeks has finally been tracked down and fixed. In principle only the Windows App needs to be changed, as its seems to be bound to the MS Compiler.
An additional feature of this App is some more sanity checking of some input files (ephemeris files "earth" and "sun"), so that a corrupted file is detected early and no wrong information is propagated into the computation (usually causing Client Errors later).
Speed, again, shouldn't have changed compare to the current official App.
(most of the proejct team is travelling to a meeting the next days and may have poor internet connectivity. I added a link to the previous Beta App on the page)

First WU particular crunched

First WU particular crunched wit 4.30 finished. No significant difference in runtime, just waiting for validation.

I have completed 3 WU's 100%
)
I have completed 3 WU's 100% with 4.30 and 4 partially 4.28 and 4.30. All are still pending and crunch time remains unchanged.

There are 10^11 stars in the galaxy. That used to be a huge number. But it's only a hundred billion. It's less than the national deficit! We used to call them astronomical numbers. Now we should call them economical numbers. - Richard Feynman
Did anybody tried to crunch

Did anybody tried to crunch one WU with 3 different app versions?
(4.24,28 and 30)
I did it and no error,but not sure about validation.

Have one that Iám still
)
Have one that Iám still working on the first 10% with 4.24 the next 30% with 4.28 and now going with 4.30. Crunschtime indication is about the same as with 4.24.
Okay first 4.30 WU is

Okay first 4.30 WU is validated against 4.24:

Two results to report:
http://einsteinathome.org/task/85805065 - 100% v4.30 (Validated OK)
http://einsteinathome.org/task/85714704 - Approximately 10% v4.24/60% v4.28/30% v4.30 (This was my first "Monster" - and it's "Pending" the result from its "Wingman".)
Has anyone confirmed speeedup
)
Has anyone confirmed speeedup on Win32/AMD SSE?
RE: Has anyone confirmed
)
Compared to which?
The 25% slowdown of AMD compared to Intel CPUs of 4.17 has been fixed in 4.24. Compared to 4.24 the 4.30 shouldn't show a noticeable difference in speed.
