This is a recent work unit that's come down the pipe. Just curious how quickly it's taking your pc's to crunch it. Yah it's unscientific and probably has variations. Oh well.

Hi!
Strange, your CPU is Listed as "AuthenticAMD Unknown CPU Typ". Is it an Engineering Sample sor something like this??
CU
BRM
No, when it's not running
)
No, when it's not running stock it tends to do this, at least with this particular core.
Unit was just

Unit was just validated:
OS: Windows XP
Processor: Pentium D
Frequency: 3 Ghz
Completion Time: 105,900.70

Soooo....you overclocked the box??
CU
BRM
Yes indeed.

Yes indeed.
Whilst I don't appear to have
)
Whilst I don't appear to have yet had that particular WU type (0418.90), I have a few others (which for some reason appear to go to specific computers).
WU Type : 0258.55
OS: Linux
Processor: AMD Opteron 275
Frequency: 2.20 Ghz
Completion Time: ave 72,906 seconds
WU Type : 0504.85
OS: Linux
Processor: AMD Opteron 275
Frequency: 2.20 Ghz
Completion Time: est 79,538.40 seconds
WU Type : 0375.90
OS: Linux
Processor: AMD Opteron 275
Frequency: 2.20 Ghz
Completion Time: ave 52,205 seconds
WU Type : 0453.55
OS: Linux
Processor: AMD Opteron 285
Frequency: 2.60 Ghz
Completion Time: ave 59,304 seconds
WU Type : 0447.85
OS: Linux
Processor: AMD Opteron 285
Frequency: 2.60 Ghz
Completion Time: ave 56,534 seconds
This mainly shows different run times for the different 'frequencies'? of each workunit.
Can't tell if the 0453.55 WU type would run slower on my 2.2 GHz computer as none have been sent to it, both the 0453.55 and 0447.85 have only been sent to my faster computers (I have 2 Opteron 285's but each has been sent only one type of work unit).
That answers one question
)
That answers one question I've had. I always wondered if the Opty's were faster than the Athlons. They are, I take about 64,1xx seconds to complete a 435.xx WU with a 5600+ X2 (2.8 GHz).
