I came across a riddle that supposedly Albert Einstein wrote early in the last century and claimed that 98% of the world population would not be able to solve it.
It doesn't use word play, just logic. If you believe you have the answer, post your answer in BBCode tagged to size 2 so it won't spoil it for others.

I am not familiar with bbcodes so I may have to edit this a time or two.
I have the german in the green house watching his fish while drinking coffee and smoking his pipe full of prince.
RE: I am not familiar with

Alright! That's two now that figured it out. Good work Frozenoak!
RE: RE: I am not familiar

I had to do a little guess and check so it wasn't pure logic for me. Is that cheating?
RE: RE: RE: I am not
)
Well, if you got it right the first time I wouldn't call it cheating. As long as anyone doesn't throw the game by posting the answer in regular sized font, it's all good. I'm pleased if anyone enjoys the game.
I've known the answer but

I've known the answer

You made the assumption that the first house is furthest to de left. If you make the assumption that the first house is furthest to de right, then it’s the inhabitant of the house furthest to the left, who is ether German or Britt.
Then you're really interested in a subject, there is no way to avoid it. You have to read the Manual.
Here's what I came up
)
Here's what I came up with:
The Norwegian lives in the first house, which is yellow, and he smokes Dunhill, drinks water, and has cats for pets.
Next is the Dane, living in a blue house, smoking Blends, drinking tea, and he evidently has a stable (for his horses).
Then comes the Brit, in a red house, smoking Pall Mall, drinking milk, and he has birds for pets.
The fourth house is green, owned by the German who smokes Prince, drinks coffee, and he's the guy with the fish.
In the last house, a white one, lives the Swede, who smokes Blue Master, drinks beer, and has dogs.
