Yeah, I just discovered that

Message 60679 in response to message 60677

Yeah, I just discovered that a little while ago on one of the machines that I haven't shut down. Now, I'll need to fire up the ones that I have shut down and try the same trick on them.

Something else I have to wonder. . .

If the E@H servers are this overloaded, is this a sign that they don't really need all of us right now? I plan to stick with the project, but until there's a greater need for me I'm going to give some of my computers (and my electric meter) a much-deserved break. And, on the computers that I don't want to shut down, I've already been trying out some other projects.

Same for me,

but you can report your result...

You have to disable "get new work" before update.

Sometimes you have to update 2 -3 times before connection works.

But That's not really a solution...

Me too! RE: What

Message 60681 in response to message 60670

Me too!

Quote:

What concerns me more is this from the status page:

in database 755,884

waiting for
transitioner 63,798

with canonical
result 492,618

no canonical
result 263,266

waiting for
validation 13,777

waiting to be
purged 9,693

Here in good old Germany it´s a bit different. I get continously new work and send the results back without problems. But for nearly 3 days I don´t get any validation. Normaly about 40% of the reported files become immediately validated after reporting. That has stopped. The server status shows at 8:11 PM UTC every server is running . But then the transitioner and validator seem to have lost their calculating power, as their amount of files are increasing in parts dramatically:

waiting for transitioner 97,466
waiting for validation 28,585

no canonical result 321,456

The generator and the purger seem to work propper:
in database 770,450
waiting to be purged 2,564

We have to hope for sufficient disk space on the servers. Before monday morning there will be no service, I suppose.

About 10h ago the server staus page didn´t became updated for several hours. The last 2 updates had been in time.
Has someone hacked the servers ????

Still getting database errors

Still getting database errors and my pending credit has built up to almost 500 whereas 150 or less is normal for me... okay I was a bit more active over the last days, but still, this concerns me a bit. Maybe someone from the project staff could give us a quick statement what is going on?

I have the same thing going on over here as well. I usually have between 1200 to 1500 credits pending. I'm up to 4500 now. The highest its ever been was about a week ago when things went south when I had 3200. At this rate by Monday I'll be around 7500.

Hope things get figured out soon and someone let's us know what's up.

I used to have my settings to connect to the server set at .5 but Friday night I reset it to 2 days just in case things really go nuts.

On the server page all seems to be running, at least all is green.

I've got just my usual 1 pending, so I won't complain about that.

Edit:
Also got this several times in the fora:

Uploads are no problem for me

Uploads are no problem for me (so far) but the WUs just don't get validated although they have reached the quorum. And I also got database errors when I tried to access the message boards or view my stats.
