I've tried running all three 3 executables in the file. boinc-restart flashes a console window but doesn't appear to do anything else. boinc.exe appears to be a console mode client. Except for the starting messages the only difference I see between boincmgr and the truxsoft client I was using previously is that I'm not claiming enhanced credit.
Do you see a BoincStudio.exe file? This is the French GUI with this credit calibration and CPU adjustment. Once boincmgr.exe is running try opening this file (I have found that BoincStudio.exe will only "recognize" you localhost if boincmgr.exe is running.
You will need to set-up you localhost on this program. Right-click "ordinateurs", click "nouvel ordinateur". This will create a new host. Then go to the "params" tab and fill in the missing info (path for data files, port, and password from the gui_rpc_auth.cfg file).
Once you have the "params" set, right-click on your newly created host (on the right side of the screen in the data tree) and hit "connecter", you should then see in the bottom message console something like : processing nouvel ordinateur, connected to nouvel ordunateur, refreshing nouvel ordinateur.
If that doesn't work you may need to attach to the project first.
One other note, make sure you are using the boincmgr.exe and boinc.exe provided in the download, not the ones already moded by trux.

under the C:\\program files\\BOINC\\...\\data directory there should be a md5s.txt file. try inserting the failed hash number into that file using the same format.
I had a similar issue with it not recognizing the S40.12 app signature because the app is newer than the client. Here is a link to a google transladed version of the FAQ page for BoincStudio.

Ok seems to be working now. I've checked the credit correction box, so I'll see how well that works in a half hour or so. On the CPU front, projects says 4, general 2. Am I capable of requesting 128 or 64 wu's/day?
I think so, just make sure you cache is set high enough.

Leave at least 0 GB disk space free
Use no more than 100% of total disk space
If not, there's 89 gigs still free on that partition?
Once I see confirmation it's working I'll start trickling my cache size down from 5.5 to 3days (3 covers a weekend isp outage)

Just a little precision, BoincManager isn't require by BoincStudio. However, boinc.exe is required (BoincManager launchs boinc.exe if not running). You can launch boinc.exe in command line window, or better, under service.
