But it could be :)

It could check for a new ver lets say, every half an hour, and if it found, it would show a baloon popup in the systray, telling the user about the update. But then it would really be usefull to minimise it to tray.

Hm, your ideas really sound

Hm, your ideas really sound pretty interesting but I don't think that many people share this opinion...
Personally I hate any program that resides in the RAM if it doesn't need to (for example I don't let my email client opened the whole day as some others surely do ^^).

But if the majority of you would want such a feature, of course I'll try to implement that!

Have a nice day!

Hmmm, thought I posted here but maybe it was over on BOINC/SETI forum.

Clicking "Get Data" a second (or more) time(s).. adds duplicate entries to the display. Good luck. Great Tool!

Hi, I just finished a new

Hi,

I just finished a new version (1.7) where I implemented a mode called check_silent (unfortunately only works on win 2000 / XP with CC > 4.20).
The new mode starts if you add the parameter /check_silent to your Shortcut of BOINCnotifier. In check_silent-mode the program runs in the tray and notifies you whether there is a new version or not.
A good idea would be running that as an autostart program...

Little screenshot:

You can get it be clicking here (same link as always) or by built-in update.

Have fun!
