Petrus, I downloaded via your signature thumbnail but what do I do after that to actually use it vs going the "Use" link route? It unzips a few fiolders and some .php files which I can't access... TIA

I HAVE BEEN RUNNING 24/7 SINCE (not counting server WAIT times lol), CHECKOUT MY STATS!
currently I'm developing 2 programs which deal with BOINC:
BOINCnotifier:
the one this thread deals with. It's written in Delphi (so only works on windows) and helps you keeping up to date with your BOINC core client. You can download it here.
boincwapstats:
a signature script that uses the project's WAP output for getting data. For installing that program, you need to have a webserver or webspace with PHP support and activated GD library.
Because of what you wrote in your post, I think that you don't have one ^^. So if you want to use it, you have to find another server where it is installed (for example my homeserver, this is where the "Use" link points to)
If there are still problems, feel free to post them here. :)
I just found some time for BOINCnotifier and therefore corrected the nasty bug where the CC version could not be checked (since 4.24).
So in the new version 1.8 version detection works again BUT people with clients from 4.20 to 4.23 should stick to 1.7 or upgrade to the new Core Client.
in the last days, the BOINCnotifier produced a strange output due to the new Mac versions where the version number could not be read out of the XML-file.
Fortunately David Anderson now changed the format, so with this new version of BOINCnotifier, hopefully everything will work again! :)

I don't know what you corrected but the newest version say 'not a valid win32 application'

BillyG,
Look two posts down from where your last post is...
See this line...
"You can get it be clicking here (same link as always) or by built-in update."
Those links you are talking about are not for this program.
I hope this help you downloading it.

I kinda thought that was gonna happen after I posted it...
I AM talking about the link that says "DOWNLOAD" in his signature, not the utility that this thread is all about. Thx.
While I'm at it, where do I get the box (that you have in your post) from? I went to the link shown in the box but that did no good. TIA.

Hi,
I just found some time for BOINCnotifier and therefore corrected the nasty bug where the CC version could not be checked (since 4.24).

Get the new exe by downloadlink or autoupdate!
