Yeah, cool! But 'Pricing has not been announced', I fear is an understatement... :-)

I always wondered what would happen if you merged Moore's Law ( Intel ) with Relativity, maybe with extra processors you'd asymptotically approach but never quite reach bankruptcy.... sigh..... :-)

I was looking at these on the

I was looking at these on the Tyan site this evening. 8-)

This the Personal Supercomputer.

You'll also need to take a look at the next motherboard up for Personal Supercomputers but don't forget to look at the additioanl processor board!!! Click on "M4881 Processor Expansion Board in the upper right!

Yes, your looking at an 8 way dual core (16 CPU's 8-))). That desk side PSC could have four of these inside. That's some PSC!!!!

Now the bad news, the base model PSC, is $11,500.00
The Top end AMD CPU's are $3,400 each and the base Tyan motherboard is $2,000.
That's one of their 4 way "cheapies"

I'd still like that S4881 & M4881 combo 8-D - 8 dual core CPU's. Hmmm, smells good ;-) But I haven't looked up the prices on this lot, to scared!
