According to AMD and Wikipedia, my 3950X and 5950X CPUs both support DDR4-3200 in dual-channel mode. The same is said for my EPYC system, though it is a 8-channel MB. But my 5950X is running DDR4-3600 (when running XMP). Can I run DDR4-3600 (in XMP) on my EPYC with no problems?
And this has what to do with Nvidia gpus? ;)
Good question though. Motherboard Reviews or perhaps Generic cpu?

Nothing! It is the EPYC CPUs that I'm concerned with. AMD does say for their Ryzen CPUs that the limit of RAM speed is 3600 without changing the ratio from 1:1. If you go higher, it goes to 2:1, ultimately slowing down the processor somewhat.

AMD and the motherboard reviewers all refer to the memory requirements (or limitations) according to the manufacturer's specs. I'm asking if the EPYC processor can handle 3600 ram if the motherboard will.

What I think I hear you saying is because Titan V's are single slot cards that use blower style cooling you can plug 7 into an Epycd8 motherboard?
With no cooling issues?
And I am seeing used prices about $500 (two eBay sellers from China).
Which means while they are not absolutely competitive with 7 rtx 3080 ti GPU systems they avoid all the cabling and expansion kits issues I have been having? And are reasonably competitive? And use less electricity?
Hmmm....
Maybe I need to change my target GPUs.

Why would you think a Titan V is a single slot card? It’s a dual slot blower. Similar to your blower 3080Tis
im only comfortable running them right next to another card because the card is only pulling 120W and the dual slot cooler keeps temps well enough at 100% even with just a small gap for airflow.

you are returning results with about 450s runtime. is that with 1x or 2x per GPU?

Your Epyc hosts run RDIMM's which are not overclockable on Epyc motherboards. Only the newest TR50 motherboards can run overclocked ECC memory.
