Are you sure they don't have double precision? This states a 1:4 ratio, which is a lot better than most other cards and would make them great for Milkyway, if they had any apps for Intel GPUs.

it's wrong, wikipedia must be using speculative pre-launch specs. they don't have any hardware FP64 support. they fall back to a much slower software solution for FP64. Intel has confirmed this.
I reverted to no app_config as it was freezing the GPU.
It seemed to work for a while, then I had GPu freezing and tasks not progressing and computer freezing.
I tried several things and the only one that fixed it was just removing the app_config, reading the app_config, aborting the GPU tasks, and getting fresh tasks.
I had the same issue and is what I tried to describe when I mentioned my desktop froze. I am running no app_config and have been stable ever since.
NOTE: I was getting desktop freezing when running BOTH the intel ARC as well as the on-board CPU ntel gpu. When I removed the app_config, I also turned off the on-board gpu. I am reluctant to turn the on-board gpu ON but I guess to get true root cause I should try it.

My CPU doesn't have the GPU "chip" so the ARC A750 is the only available GPU in my case
Intel iGpu's to be not very good choices for crunching. But that was more the inherit limitations of the iGpu design(s) than anything else.
I am a little surprised at the latest Intel iGpu as possibly being hiccupy.

it is SW emulated FP64, not HW capable :)
Hence the parts requiring FP64 in the WU taking a longer time (and they seem stuck at 89.***%)

My Intel ARC A750 is doing pretty well, it has even surpassed my dual GTX980 computer on average credit :)
