Earlier this morning I passed

Earlier this morning I passed the 2B mark for Einstein credits.  Also recently snuck into the top 10 for Einstein RAC.  Doesn't look like I am likely to stay in the Einstein RAC top 10, as other Collatz crunchers move to Einstein.  Nonetheless, I have been happy with the migration of approximately 60% of my GPUs from Collatz to Einstein; the other 40% of my GPUs were already crunching on behalf of Einstein.

YOW Mikey!! I will NEVER

YOW Mikey!!

I will NEVER make it to one Trillon

You helped me years ago with the old 550Ti and I ran it to death.

NOW my 660Ti SC card that has been running 24/7 for 7 years here decided it would rather be a Error producer and usually a reboot and making sure I have that  EVGA Precision program has been part of the problem the last few years.

Right now it is hard to get the GPU tasks with me sitting there to suspend them and reboot and then just try to get   Precision to load so I can reset it (maybe I should try another program)

Before this happened the last 2 days I was thinking it would be easy to get to 500 million here before the end of year 18 here.....funny thing is I have two Ryzen laptops that really make that 660Ti look older than the hills (or us)

So I still might make it to 500 million before Jan. 18th 2023

I echo MQMs congratulations and thanks to Mikey for his outstanding contributions to the BOINC community.  Not only has he been a tremendous cruncher, but he has provided a wealth of technical support to many of us.  Without the patience and assistance of Mikey and scores of others, including those active at E@H, I would have given up on BOINC long ago.  Indeed, 6 of my Macs are at least 10 model-years old and the other 7 are almost 4 model-years old.

Yes it's me!! Steve Dodd took advantage of my pc's being in storage for a year and racked up nearly 50gb per day on Collatz and passed me to take over the #3 in the World spot. I have LOTS more pc's than he does though and can repass him but with Collatz down that's pretty hard at the moment, especially with m focusing more on wuprop, it tracks the actual hours you've put in an application, so gpu and gpu apps are often labeled individually.

I've stopped doing gpu tasks on my laptop as it cranks the cpu temps right up into the 90's which is too much for my laptop, the MB has already been replaced once, under warranty. But with the price of gpu's dropping even you can afford something ALOT better than a 66Ti, a 1060 is only in the #160 range on FB Marketplace. Just never do shipping unless you are willing to through your money away as I bought something, had it shipped to the UPS Store near me and the UPS Store even sent me the confirmation it was there and ready for pickup...except it wasn't and never will be!! The UPS Store said it's a common scam similar to how they are scamming the USPS into saying you package was delivered when in fact it was never even shipped!! Now to be fair I've also bought ALOT of things on there with zero problems but pc parts from now on for me are thru Amazon, Aliexpress which is kinda like Amazon for the rest of the World, or their hand to mine.

And one trillion is just a number that Bitcoin Utopia helped me get too, it was using asic miners that are ancient by todays tech but would still work, though sadly not on Boinc, if I hooked them up again

Thank you but all I do is keep pc's running and crunching, the stats just add up as they do.

One thing I tried is taking out the Mac hard drive, on my wifes old Mac laptop, and replaced with a 240gb SSD drive and loaded Linux Mint on it and it was much faster running almost every project. She has since decided she thinks she wants the laptop back so I took out the Linux SSD and put the Mac SSD back in, years ago I had updated it to an SSD drive, and it did a few updates and crunched a few tasks, then I set Boinc to No New Tasks, set it to not start up on reboot anymore and she's happy, for now. She replaced because it was old and slow, we did all the memory and SSD updates and she still didn't like waiting on it to do something, I'm guessing at some point it will come back to me again and she will get a nice quad core Chrome Book or something like that!!

I am currently running an older Mac Dekstop on Cosmology and it just runs task after task non stop, but again it would be faster if I ever moved it to Linux Mint.

You neglected to mention how many computers you have running BOINC !!

Plus, you've been running BOINC for 17 1/2 years !!

I think you deserve a little more credit than your wife giving you her laptop, and then wanting it back.

If e@h runs out of gpu tasks

If e@h runs out of gpu tasks you can always try PrimeGrid.

Especially if you are willing to tie up gpus for hundreds of hours...
