Replaced my broken inside thermometer.
The new one says it's 88F indoors. Explaining why I was feeling so hot.
And shutdown last computer before I went for a thermometer.

According to Google Kansas, USA had a heat index of 108F yesterday.
Apparently points east of here will be blessed next.
What kind of heat index is CA getting?

Supposed to be 7 degrees cooler today than yesterday. And its raining off and on too. :)

Considering the recent weather we've been having, and are expected to have in the near future, I think that today's temperature of 89॰ F is pretty darn nice for northern Illinois (US) ! It used to be considered HOT, now it is a "cooler" temperature.
It does sound like Mr. Kavanagh hales from places where 50F is a summer breeze...

He is teasing. Given the monthly humor post he usually produces, I think he is teasing.
(Fanning rapidly with my hand because it is supposed to get too darn hot again tomorrow)

After resurrecting an old tower with a nvidia GPU i no sooner got it running before turning it off. Here in central Florida the GPU heat generation is more then I can tolerate during this time of the year (so I am back to "ARMS") and will remain in this configuration until the start of winter at which time I will run the towers/GPUs hard "to heat the house" and make up for lost time assuming we have a normal winter. I think this summer is going to be a challenge in more ways then one. For example the pi4 that controls lawn irrigation needs more "on time" to keep the grass green. I am going out now to change sprinkler heads to achieve better coverage.
