Just curious.  Friend has a Russian blue and if you scratch him at the base of his tail he involuntarily licks whatever is in front of him.  Wondering if that was just his, or a trait of the breed?

No involuntarily licks with this one. Scratch too long at the base of his tail and his teeth will let you know though. He does like to butt heads as a greeting. His sister rarely does. A guy thing?

No licks here either with Maxim. However he does exhibit other Russian Blue characteristics such as playing fetch and he's VERY attentive to a schedule in the house. If I vary too much from the things I do and when he's fed, he will be after me to find out what's going on. His fur is also different than any other cat I've had. It feels a lot like a micro-fiber cloth to me.

I love that. My cat would become quite chagrined if I broke the daily routine. I guess they're creatures of habit.

Well at least you can say the cat is enjoying his "mickey mouse" (excessive nitpicking) activity?

60 meters in 5.8 seconds?  No wonder that guy has never beaten his cat - his cat would beat Usain Bolt!

Everyone knows 4 legs are faster than two.  After all, they have twice as many legs....
