Time to migrate back to the Enterprise driver and see if that helps.
Nope. Pulled an XFX Rx 5700 that seems to have gone south. And migrated Rx 5600 xt's completely off the "Moonshot" box. It is now running 4 Rx 5700's. And "seems" to be ok.
Check in on it later.

Earlier today I added back my 5th Rx 5700. Since I have had no successful, reliable experience with more than 5 gpus on this rig. This might be as "full house" as I can manage.

Then things crumbled down to a 4 GPU system and to Windows 10.
So in frustration, I have named my latest effort with an Intel B360-A Pro MB, an i9-9900, and 4 Rx 5700 GPUs running under Windows 10 "Pulsars-Revenge" :)
After testing the "cranky" Rx 5700 some more on a new Asrock X570 today I am hopeful I will be able to re-install it back onto PR (Pulsars-Revenge).
I have another Rx 5700 due tomorrow. So I am hoping to end up with a 6 GPU motherboard driven by individual slots without having to resort to a 1 to 4 expansion card.
That would take me one short of the EPYC server MB solution that both Ian@Steve and Keith are enjoying.

Another variation on a favorite topic is which x570 motherboard would be the best for "Mining" aka: BOINC.
I actually got a hit from Google on this question. The review didn't talk about # of GPUs at all though.
For instance. An MSI x570 pro comes with 5 PCIe slots. And if I had been able to get the short slots to work it should support 5 video cards before you try tricking it into more.

After looking at the results of your rx 6800 xt and that my rx 5700's are averaging a million Rac per card. I think a case could be made for your 2 gpu mix should make it up to 3 million Rac.

You wrote that on April 21. The box in question finally pushed RAC over 3,000,000 in the last day. It is hindered by a rather heavy degree of throttling down (currently I have 1400 MHz maximum GPU clock on the 6800, and -40% power limitation set on the 5700), a surprising tendency to downclock the 6800 under quite moderate forms of browser activity, worse from Chrome than Firefox, and a tendency in the last month for GRP pending to build up to a degree I've not seen before (which does not diminish ultimate credit, but delays the rise of RAC).
This 3,000,000 RAC cannot be properly compared with historic GRP RAC, as we continue to see WUs issued which "pay" at a considerably higher rate than the level most common in history.

True about the "inflation?" of the RAC's. But I was wondering. If you take off all the throttling on both gpus, do they still "down clock" when you run a browser?

This long time participant has been down since July 1 on his top performers and mid-June on his game box based crunchers.
Last time he had an outage he responded in PM that the data center had been offline.
Any other info?

I just caught two of my flat ribbon cabled gpus with stalled tasks on them :(
The tasks finished running after I suspended them for a while and then resumed them.

this seems to be a common problem with AMD. Either the card or drivers. I’d probably lean towards drivers. I’ve seen it mentioned with cards ranging from RX500 to RadeonVII to RX5000.
there doesn’t seem to be a solution to this. And most people either deal with it or create scripts/automation to detect the hang and restart the task.
