Are there already results of an Nvidia Ampere?

Or while you're at it: the full GPU-Z screenshot, including GPU utilization, memory controller and PCIe bus load etc.

And if you're feeling experimental: what about 2 WUs concurrently?

Tried 2, was more than 2x slower than single ...

Can try again if you want ...

I made the screenshot ...

How to include this in the message?

There is no provision here for direct inclusion of images.  When posts here show images, the person posting has first placed the image at a place where it can be linked.  For example, Imgur or another commercial service, or possibly web hosting you have available to you.  Then one references that link using the IMG tag.  Detailed instruction for using IMG and other permitted BBCODE tags is available to you in the BBCODE HELP item you see just under the input text box here.

[Edit: I deleted my example image, as any utility it may have had to the Ampere owner is over, and it is now visual clutter]

his host hasnt submitted any GW tasks, so it must be GR.

that's a big OOF on that power consumption (worse performance per watt than the 20-series cards). but the voltage is also really high and probably could be dialed back to save power. without losing performance.

Yes, I would like to see what

Yes, I would like to see what kind of clocks the card would run if you used nvidia-smi and a pl=200.

Would that be sufficient to reduce the power consumption and be equivalent to the power efficiency of a 2080 Ti?

To get the same efficiency as

To get the same efficiency as my 2080ti (which is doing GR single tasks in about 350 seconds using 215W)

The 3090 doing tasks in 310 seconds needs to get power consumption down to 242W

really Ampere “should” be even more power efficient than Turing. But maybe it’s just bad app optimization.

If you look for efficiency: Titan V does GR single tasks in about 380-400 seconds using 103 W ....

that's excellent!
