re: https://einsteinathome.org/host/12218186/log
I'm sure the answer is in the log above but I'm not seeing it. I only want Nvidia GPU tasks (no CPU only or Intel GPU tasks). The GPU is busy working other tasks right now, but before those started I couldn't get any Einstein tasks for the past few days.
Or are you out of tasks?
Thanks,
Win

I am getting new CPU tasks but no new GPU tasks on only one of my three machines, starting a couple weeks ago. I can't see any settings that have changed. any advice about this?

The first thing for you to do is to review the text shown under the link ifor "last time contacted server" for that machine. It will show you whether your copy of BOINC asked for GPU work, and it will show what the server said in response.
The first thing to do if you want any advice from us is to stop hiding your machines. You can adjust the privacy settings on the preferences page for your account.

My machine DESKTOP-724EV7H has not received any tasks Einstein@Home since 30 September 2020, but is receiving a lot of work from Rosetta@home.
Coincidentally, or not, my machine received a new Windows 10 update last night, but I think I dealt with that by making a Windows Firewall Exception for BOINC.src, which allowed work from Rosetta@home.
Is Einstein@Home out of new work, or down, or is there something I need to do to get more work from Einstein@Home?

Hi! No, Einstein is not out of work. Please visit https://einsteinathome.org/account/prefs/privacy and set "Should Einstein@Home show your computers on its website?: " to YES and save changes. That will help to see what's going on with your computer (last contact with project server etc.).

Hi! Thank you so much!!!
I saw where someone else said something like "It would help for people to not hide their computers", but they didn't say how to check or fix that.
Thank you for doing so for a BOINC/Einstein@home neophyte like me. I changed all three settings on the https://einsteinathome.org/account/prefs/privacy page to YES.
I don't know why anyone who wants to participate in Einstein@home would not want to share all the information.
If you have any more Einstein@home, BOINC, or other tips to share, I would be grateful for them as well.
Anyway, thanks again, and
Best Regards,
