No. The machines here are four core eight thread systems, both BOINC Managers are visible on this screen 24/7 both show eight threads running BOINC processes all the time. Hence, my surprise. The task manager shows 95-100% all the time, it is why I have such large heatsinks on my CPU's. I was wondering if that figure was not counting right when VM's are in use by some projects.
