Thanks! Tried with exact same

Thanks! Tried with exact same settings (Wattman and OverDriveN tool) and GPU voltage doesn't act as expected, GPU Power 220-280 W Frown

I've found previously that if

I've found previously that if OCing got unstable it's best to suspend BOINC work, reset Wattman, restart computer, apply changes in Wattman  and resume BOINC work.

Also, when using multiple applications to tweak voltages/fanspeed (so Wattman, OverdriveNTool, Watttool) - i've more or less have had to reset settings and restart each time.

Cleanup of display driver with DDU has helped also in the past (and thus clean-installing driver). Built-in driver cleanup actually works just as well, I always use it when updating.

editx2: no undervolt

I can only conclude that for me the undervolt is working and reduction in power consumption is massive - as are thermal and acoustic changes for the card. Do keep in mind i've been tinkering with undervolting ever since I got it week after launch, so finding the sweetspot for your specific card/PC combo could not be as simple as applying same numbers. Which currently seems to be the only thing i can think of restricting you from reaching similar results..

Thanks for all the tests and

Thanks for all the tests and reports @ikeke1.

I tried everything possible, but still no luck.
My card is not a retail model, even though outside it looks like it. But some marks there say "Engineering Sample NOT for Qualification". So I think this might be the reason why it behaves different.

Have you tried BIOS switch?

Have you tried BIOS switch? Worth a shot i guess.

I'll stop tweaking it now, have found 100% stable settings for my card. Will try for 1000mv on gpu for 24h stability, would be a nice round number with couple watts power reduction aswell.

All good so far. -10% avg

All good so far. -10% avg fanspeed decrease and also ~10% chip power decrease. Correlates with power consumption from the wall.

Unfortunately  i locked min/max for previous run so not directly comparable.

edit: adding wall meter pictures (deduct ~100W from this to get host power consumption, I have NAS +  switch + UPS + 24" monitor on the same line)

This is for "editx2: no undervolt"  @ https://einsteinathome.org/goto/comment/162578

I thought I will try to flash

I thought I will try to flash a new VBIOS, but when I checked, the current one is 100% identical with:
- Sapphire RX Vega 64 8 GB BIOS
or
- MSI RX Vega 64 8 GB BIOS

I meant the physical BIOS

I meant the physical BIOS switch on the card. Perhaps "performance" BIOS on yours does not allow for software tweaks to actually work? Just guessing though..

Oh, finally! I did just

Oh, finally! I did just another total driver clean up and reinstall (perhaps the 5th time) and now it seems to be working !

Running now Core @ 1010 mV, Memory @ 900 mV, no change to clock speeds. Looks very well.
