A rh turn in Holland of

A rh turn in Holland of course, as then you would not need to cross traffic. But the bike I have for shipping and transporting kids is not electric, the bike I use that replaced or second car is. Within the city the pedal powered bike still is a lot faster then a car though.

If I'd replace the big heavy bike I would go for an electric one though. A lot more comfortable.

If I'd live in a city in England I'd probably still ride the bike though, just some much nicer.

Also, I'm thinking of strapping a RPi to my bicycle and turning it into a BOINC Bike. Still in hyper-concept phase at the moment as similarly stated above.

I think this could work, not very long term though, even the Tour De France guys get off their bikes at the end of the day.

If they crash they don't step

If they crash they don't step of but fall of, others simply continue cycling through the night. Some bicycles might even be comfortable beds to sleep in.

Converting human motion to electricity is less rewarding that I'd expect. Meaning that either your speed will be significantly impacted by draining kinetic energy to generate electricity to power your computing or other forms of supplying energy would be required.

If other forms of energy would be chosen then what is the point in putting it on your bicycle? The only advantage I see would be to convert kinetic energy to electricity on breaking. The additional weight required to generate sufficient braking power by that method would probably result in an extremely inefficient bicycle.

The Tour De France has only been held in daylight hours.

I'm just winning!!

I'm just amazed that guy thinks he will get very far in that thing, it has pretty much zero aerodynamics and tons of weight up top!

The top one I think is just a cartoon, but the bottom one is genuine but as yet you can't buy one.

I did note twin steering wheels?? Either passenger can apparently take it in turns to drive? But it's only a concept fun car when all said and done.

With headwind you simply drive backward so that you get tailwind instead?

With some additional electric input it might actually get you some place.

Though I was more thinking in the line of:
