Why do doctors have to practice?
You'd think they'd have got it right by now

If you yelled for 8 years, 7

If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee. (Hardly seems worth it.)

More tired today than usual

More tired today than usual for this time of year. Or any, for that matter.

T'is Friday. More than a few

T'is Friday afternoon. More than a few of my colleagues have decided that today is POETS day ( Piss Off Early, Tomorrow is Saturday ). Hence I stand in lieu, or locum tenens, of them. I impersonate other doctors that is. Which is more onerous than my usual role, that of impersonating just one doctor .... BOOM BOOM :-))

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Does that include the female ones? I think we should be told :-)

On second thoughts might be TMI for those of a nervous disposition,  Sal Volatile anyone?

Go see the Dr and get some of the routine blood tests done, they will show any of the 'normal' reasons for being so tired. Do you take your vitamins and B12 every day? B12 is something that can boost your energy if you aren't getting enough of it thru your regular diet, the tests can find that out too. There IS a 'you're taking too much' level of that stuff though, my Nutritionist recommends no more than 500mg per day, although I've seen MUCH more on some of the bottles. I get blood work done every 3 months, being a 'former' diabetic, and then also LOTS of blood work done every 6 months just to make sure everything is still good after my surgery. The 3 month ones are about 2 or 3 tubes while the 6 month ones can be 9 or 10 tubes, plus a urine test too! The Lab tech always says 'sorry I have to take so much' while I always say 'if you only stick me one time I don't care how much you take!'.

That's how I feel about it too. They frequently have to go 2 or 3 times and then wiglle it around before they strike oil. I really hate when they give up and go on my hand.

Actually, I need to get a test and a scan before one of my dr.s will refill one of my scrips, which is out right about now.

OTOH, I feel back to normal today. Which is not to say normal, just normal for me.
