I'd take the time to say something to you all if I could... :)

 you know...

be bothered...

 I really really would ;)

but I spied a thread out there, and it seemed to suggest it was all about me...

And yet you didn't post in it.

Or did you somehow catch a glimpse of the similar but much bigger thread at Seti?

Well, I only issue one "HB!" per person per year, and I gave you yours here, not there. So there.

I didn't post in it, David,

I didn't post in it, David, till I did. I know :\

It's because the interruption-levels I am presently experiencing are so interrupting, that even approaching the keyboard seems to trigger somebody needing something done for them somewhere. It's got so bad, in essence...  that it's a seated anniet that is interrupting them.  Nor have I caught up with myself for having a very late night Friday night,  where - instead of going to bed as a very tired anniet, I had to play air raid wardens and bomb shelters in the dark with my mother when a neighbour's car alarm went off *twitch* and didn't stop going off *tic* ... for nearly three hours *tortured spasm*

And with our downstairs spaces festooned in sheets and bedding that I can't dry fast enough before the next need to be added to them because of our noclemency weather, and my mother periodically staggering into them and getting lost and/or entangled in them, my bomb site played host to her trying to find her mother and her little brother :(

Where I'm getting more than a little frazzled since however, is on the topic of hot coffee *pause to spontaneously combust*

I haven't had one since the one I needed when the blitz started ... and didn't get.

Well, I only issue one "HB!" per person per year, and I gave you yours here, not there. So there

Get it out the way early - good idea. Thank you for thinking of me

:)

edit for another read of words of wisdom: They're very good. I can see them being very good beyond just computers... I have this vacuum cleaner for example...

Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.

Think Keurig, not a 'proper' cup of coffee but it is tolerable in the morning and evenings when you just want a cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa or whatever and can't be bothered, or don't have the time, to make a 'proper' cup. It's also MUCH better than the coffee machines they have in places.

Just in from UFO Paranoia

Just in from UFO Paranoia Central. Why can't you see the lunar landers on the Moon from Earth ?

lunar_lander.jpg

Mainly 'cos the people that run that telescope can't be bothered looking ( it's been found already ). But there just might be a deeper reason :

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

Just about the end of my sick

Just about the end of my sick day home from work, and time for a nap I think.
