Now I can buy one of those Xenon's with the top of the line video card!

CONGRATULATIONS on your milestone...300 hundred million...WOW!!!

I wish I could get a deal like that too!! I was bored and cruised craig's list the other day and found a business selling it's older pc's, they are Intel I7 cpu's that are 6 core cpu's that can be hyper-threaded to 12 cores with a 256gb SSD drive and two AMD 5450 gpu's in each one along with a 600 watt psu and Win7 Pro, all for $280 apiece. I picked up two of them but he still has 18 of the original 80 left. They even came with a carrying rack for each one. I told my wife if I had the disposable cash I would be redoing my whole bunch of pc's with them if I could.

I am happy with my fleet until I see members with the 24 and 32 core Xenons that wizzz past mine in a few months.

I guess that is the future and I will start my 13th year here next month and probably see Xenons start the same day and pass me up by the end of next year Undecided

You could probably heat up a house in Alaska with all of yours Laughing

Must be because of their nobility, eh?  The rotten upper classes always did that sort of thing to us plebs ... Wink

Cheers,
Gary.

Yeah Gary and dem there Nobles are known to hide those new fangled processing contraptions Tongue Out

Guys like Mikey and I get tempted to become Nobility since we have been keeping our plunder from the Queen since Buzz Aldrin walked around on that ball of cheese we see way up in the sky.

We even have what some call a "man cave" in our homes and being mad scientists we have to see how many computers we can run instead of video games and pool tables.....or a bar Wink

But at my Kingdom far far away my DSL is from the stone age even with Bill Gates as my neighbor so I just have to run my home made abacuses running until one of them tries to retire on me.......and THEN I will sneak into my secret stash and at least add one 32-core Xenon at at time since I am a sporting kind of mad scientist and I like to win these crunching battles ......and I tend to do that for Cern and my Virtualbox Large Hadron Collider!!

Of course here......well I do ok but I can tell I would have to fill my man cave with as many 32-core Xenons as I could afford to ever start catching up to YOUR golden fleet of crunching mad machines........and of course I wouldn't hide them from the minions here and try to appear to be a Prince if not a King!!

(but anyway......are all of yours at home Gary??)........don't worry I won't use my Mossad skills to hack into them Cool

(Oh and Mikey I still have that 560Ti OC beast running with my duct tape and a/c fan cooling system)

Well I did have to get my pc's their own a/c unit in my new house! They call it a 'split unit' and it's made by Carrier, not a choice I had, and it sits in the wall with the other half outside. It's actually a heat pump so can provide heat if I want it too, I told them I didn't need that part and they said 'this is what we offer'. Right now I have it running in a/c mode of course set at 80F and it's comfortable in there. I only have about half my 'ranch' running right now but next week the rest should come online after the electrician comes back and does some work for me.
