I'm quite interested to see how the Zen chips perform (they should be available in March)
One of the models is an 8 core 16 thread cpu at 3.7 ghz using 65 watts TDP for $320.00

A cpu with high singlecore-performance and 4 cores with little powerconsumption to feed the gpu(s) would be really nice. :)
Maybe the AMD Ryzen 5 1400X will do a great job in this case. A good alternative to the Intel Core i7-7700K would help.
