I already commented on the layout question here (#4), so that's not going to change for the time being. Mobile optimizations notwithstanding of course.

It may have been mentioned before.. but I miss performance in the new drupal version. Any navigation action takes 1 - 2 s to complete. It's certainly bearable but noticeably worse than before.

I don't really understand the "LAST REPLY" : "Featured" thing. It gives zero amount of information. Actual amount of time gone from the last post would be much better thing to be shown for every topic.

We're current working on some better forum UI.

Regarding performance issues. The added benefits of a CMS, drupal, are balanced by the fact that it takes more computing resources to serve complex Web pages. This is something that we'll be thinking about when we start to move to/develop a Drupal 8 based Web-site.

Hi, on

Hi,

on "https://einsteinathome.org/de/account/computers/all" the global merge option is missing. It is called:

"Merge computers by name"

and is generally found next to the "show all computers" option at the bottom of the list/page.

The workaround is to click through all hosts's details and select "merge" and then do it manually for all specific hosts, which can take a little time...

So, please re-implement this (semi-)automatic global merge option :-).

I think this is already on our fix-list.

One small suggestion: it would be nice if the Credit and RAC items under user profile on forum would include thousand separators. The big numbers are sometimes hard to read ;-)

Is it possible to include the number of units affected for each category (all tasks, in progress, pending, …) on the tasks page? The old version had that and it was more useful than having to click on each category to see how many units are in that classification. For example:

All(20) . In progress(5) . Pending(2) . ….

It's on the developers to do list to bring back this functionality of the old site, but there are more pressing matters to attend to before they get to this one, but rest assured that it will get done sometime in the hopefully not to distant future.

Understood. Thanks for the info. I appreciate what the developers are doing and I thank them, too, for their hard work and frequently thankless efforts.
